The mission of Risen Word Ministries is to lead the lost into the kingdom of God and to minister to the hurting saints of God. Brother Johnny speaks with boldness and authority under the direction of the Holy Spirit. He has been used by the Lord to raise the dead, stem a flow of blood and lead many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Brother Johnny gives all the Glory and Honor to Jehovah God for His wonderful deeds toward men.

Brother Johnny does not believe in struggling with the adversary (the devil). The Word of God tells us to “….cast out devils…” (Mk. 16:17), “…to tread on serpents and scorpions…” (Lk. 10:19), “ Neither give place to the devil.” (Eph. 4:27), and “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7).

Brother Johnny has had 2 heart attacks and heart bypass surgery. He believes he has been healed by the stripes on Jesus' back and continues to confess that he has been delivered from heart disease. He is a firm believer of Romans 4:17 and Proverbs 18:20-21. Brother Johnny has seen many prayers answered, from healing to deliverance from addictions to financial miracles. There is just no room for doubt. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever. The Word works. Brother Johnny “only” believes and then he steps out in faith. The Holy Ghost does the rest. When the uncompromised Word is preached, the Lord will confirm it with signs following.
